Featuring artwork from artists residing in all 92 counties in the State of Indiana, the 92 County Art Show exhibit at the Honeywell Center Clark Gallery currently on display through Feb. 9, provides an array of mediums for the artistic palate to enjoy and savor. The 92 County Art Show is sponsored by local residents Robert and Ines Gillespie.

A total of 45 artists submitted 123 pieces of artwork for this competition. From those 123 submissions, 80 were chosen by the judges for the art show. The judges this year were Linda and Tom Farris. They are married, but this is not their first time judging as a husband and wife duo. They enjoy pulling from the different backgrounds to curate a diverse show. Linda Farris has a BS in Art from Ball State University. In addition to teaching art in the public school system, she also has a robust background as an artist.  Tom Farris has a background in marketing and advertising. The 92 County Art Show is just one way that the Clark Gallery supports the visual arts. The Clark Gallery hosts more than ten exhibits per year and features students, amateurs, and professionals. Exhibits include the Wabash County Schools, Themed Art Competition, and Wabash Art Guild. Because the Gallery encompasses the semi-circle of the Honeywell Center Porter Lobby, foot traffic exceeds 170,000 guests per year! Nearly every exhibit hosts a reception to introduce the public to the art. All of this is done free of charge because the Clark Gallery is a part of the mission of The Honeywell Foundation.

The Honeywell Foundation seeks to provide artistic, social, cultural and recreational opportunities for all. The Foundation operates the Honeywell Center, Honeywell House, Eagles Theatre and the 13-24 Drive IN. All programs and activities are supported by gifts from individuals, businesses, the Indiana Arts Commission (a state agency) and the National Endowment for the Arts (a federal agency).
